Andalucía

Andalucía is the southern region of Spain, the homeland of flamenco music, tapas, and warm hearted people. This Spain connection tour is during the month of May, which is the beginning of the spring fair season. The ‘feria’ is the local’s buzzword, because they actively participate and dress in their traditional costumes during the ‘feria’ in their Town. This tour is ideal for painters and photographers, and for lovers of a visually beautiful cultural experience.

On this tour, we will meet in Madrid to get acclimated to Spain time, plus see some sites. Then, take the bullet train to Cordoba to visit the city, and their celebration of the beautifully decorated patios in people’s homes. After Cordoba, we will go to the horse fair in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, where there is an array of beautiful Andalusian horses dressed to the hilt, prancing through the fairgrounds. The locals are dancing, enjoying their week of the third year in this unforgettable experience. Next stop Sevilla, one of the Andalucía’s gems that is located on the Guadalquivir river. We will spend time walking the boardwalk along the river, visiting the historical sites and eating lovely Spanish food and tasting their wines.

We will spend the last few days in Malaga and southernmost port of Spain. This is a charming port city , Which has won the title as the city ‘where the people smile the most’ — that says it all. Beautiful Mediterranean views, quaint old historical center with palm tree lined streets and happy people! There is an option to fly out of the international airport in Malaga, or return to Madrid by air or bullet train. (AVE) The entire Itinerary is not listed.
